Heart

This week I learned that to be successful in anything you have to have alot of heart.

I am a Graduate Assistant Coach at my old High School George County High School in Lucedale, Mississippi. I coach the Girl's and Guys Basketball teams ,and this past Friday Night I saw my guys play Pascagoula at our place on Senior Night and absolutely play with no heart and no emotion it made me so upset and mad. You have to have heart in everything that you do if you want it to turn out well.

I am going to use this to make sure that when I am teaching and Coaching that I never not put my heart into what I am doing.

The Constitution

I learned a lot about the Constitution of the United States this week.

I learned that the National Government and State Governments are always in a power struggle. Each does not want to give power to the other. That is the way it has always been in the United States and probably always will be.

I am going to use this information to educate my students about this countries history when I start teaching. Most people have no idea what is going on in the world around them and they need to.

Power Point

This week I learned that Power Point can be used in many different ways to help educate students.

We were talking in class and Dr. Strange was talking about when we are teaching we could use Power Point to teach with. He said we could maybe make slide shows and hopefully it would make it easier for the students to learn the material. I had never really thought about that before and it is an interesting concept.

I am planning on using this information to help me teach History. I think I will make a Power Point on the Civil War when I start teaching because that really interests me. I also may make a slide show of World War II as well. I think it would really be neat.
